Easy to build and good desk so far!So the actual surface of the desk is made of particle board, not wood, plastic, composite, or anything else more sturdy and reliable. But for that, it's actually pretty decent. There is a nice hard coating on the surface, like formica, instead of that garbage 'wood-like veneer' that is just thin contact paper sheeting that so many other companies cover their particle board with. On the bottom where the legs screw into the surface section, there is a nearly full length horizontal metal beam supporting it, and the holes where the screws go in the surface section have embedded metal nuts for the screw to screw into instead of those awful expanding anchors like they use on other budget particle board furniture. For a cheap desk that cuts corners by not being made of real wood, they actually did go a little above and beyond by doing a few extra things to make it more sturdy and dependable than one might expect given the price. Overall I'd say it was worth it. If you can afford a real wood desk, get that. If you can't, get this. It's the best of the 'good enough' budget desks I've seen so far.This is a great desk, it's huge, stable and can hold 2 really big monitors and a bunch of computer gear with zero wobble. I took off a star because the instructions are terrible. They crammed too many things into a single image, and forget to tell you in step 3 that the legs need to be a certain way for parts in step 5. So make sure that you notice there's a small screw spot in both legs and that it needs to be facing in, not out when you put it together. those tight screws are a huge pain to redo with the tiny wrench.Overall my experience with this desk has been good. Putting it together was a little difficult since one of the screw mountings on the bottom of the table (where the left leg attaches) came loose, so I was unable to get that screw tight. Doesn't seem to have an impact on the desk as a whole.Desk is a little bit wobbly due to the nature of the design, I had to use L-Brackets to secure it to the wall to prevent my monitor from noticeably shaking. Now it works like a charm.Would recommend for those looking for a cheaper desk where you need a lot of space. The table-top is split down the middle into 2 pieces, so if you're using it for writing, would maybe look elsewhere.I use this for model building with my daughter. Easy yet very sturdy construction and assembly. Took less than an hour. Awesome value. Fast delivery with fed ex.Overall great desk, but it is a tad expensive for what it is. I don't know that I would buy it again but I do know that I am completely happy with it. The desk is very study and spacious. The only downside is that it has a slight wobble; back and forth, on the axis that the legs are pointing. but for the most part I don't even notice it and it isn't a problem regarding the sturdiness of the desk at all. I have no real qualms with the desk besides that small wobble and the slightly high price.The desk came in a small, heavy box. Desk comes in two pieces and was extremely easy to assemble. Maybe 10 minutes tops. I've been using it for about two weeks now and I have no complaints. It's deep enough to do my video game repairs on without moving anything out of the way. The split in the middle is a non issue. The desk is flat across, you don't even need a mousepad to cover it. It doesnt creek, squeak or wobble. I have the mouse pad it came with over to the left side, my PS4, speakers, Small Alienware Alpha, keyboard, mouse, 2 monitors and as of right now my Nintendo Switch with room left over. The LED lights don't come with it. I got those seperate on Amazon. It's called Neon Rope. 16.5 meters.Only thing I miss was some CPU support attached
